Cookie Policy
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files saved on your end device (computer, phone) while you use the Website. They enable the site to work correctly, remember your preferences and — with your consent — analyse traffic and carry out marketing activities. Alongside cookies we use similar technologies (e.g. pixels, local storage), referred to jointly in this policy as “cookies”.
2. Legal basis
Cookies necessary for the Website to function are used on the basis of the Controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Analytics and marketing cookies are activated only after you give consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) in the cookie banner. Until consent is given, the GA4 and Meta Pixel scripts remain blocked.
3. Categories of cookies
a) Necessary (always active)
Required for the Website to function properly — they ensure security, navigation, form handling and remembering your cookie-consent choices. They do not require consent. Retention period: session or up to [e.g. 12 months] (remembering consent preferences).
b) Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Help us understand how users interact with the Website (number of visits, traffic sources, popularity of subpages), which helps us improve the site. Provider: Google Ireland Limited. Activated after consent is given. Example cookies: _ga, _ga_* — retention up to 2 years. [verify current names/periods]
c) Marketing — Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel)
Allow us to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, display relevant ads across Meta services (Facebook, Instagram) and carry out remarketing. Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. Activated after consent is given. Example cookies: _fbp — up to 90 days; fr — up to 90 days. [verify current names/periods]
d) Functional / optimisation (first-party)
First-party files set directly by the Website (at the Cloudflare edge), containing no personal data and not shared with third parties:
lang— remembers your chosen language version (PL / EN / UA) so it is shown automatically on your next visit. Retention period: up to 180 days. A functional cookie, used solely to remember your choice.ab_variant— remembers the home-page layout variant selected on the basis of your approximate location, to keep the appearance consistent across visits. Location is derived at the Cloudflare edge from your IP address (approximate, neighbourhood-level — we do not use GPS or the browser's geolocation permission) solely while the request is served; we neither store it nor link it to you. The cookie itself holds only the variant marker (e.g.g1a) — no IP address and no location data. Retention period: up to 90 days. A first-party file — not used for advertising or profiling and not shared with third parties.
4. Data transfers outside the EEA
The use of GA4 and Meta Pixel may involve transferring data outside the European Economic Area. Transfers take place on the basis of the safeguards referred to in Chapter V of the GDPR (including standard contractual clauses).
5. Managing and withdrawing consent
- You give and change your consent to analytics and marketing cookies in the cookie banner shown on your first visit, and at any time via the “Cookie settings” button in the Website footer.
- You can withdraw consent at any time — withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
- You can also change cookie settings in your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge), including deleting stored files and blocking their storage. Disabling some cookies may affect your experience of the Website.
